I inherited this build. It is a beautiful rifle but unfortunately I am left handed. I know that it has been barely shot as it seemed to have been built for sheep hunting in mind. The S8 wraps backwards over the barrel and makes the barrel look like a shorter barreled, suppressed firearm without doing either of those things. It is made out of a corrosion resistant stainless steel, nitrided black, for years of hard professional use. Although the linear compensator does not decrease the sound the firearm makes, it does direct that sound away from the shooter making the shooting experience a bit easier on the ears. The S8 compensator comes in 3 threading patterns: 1/2x28TPI (the .223 standard). 5/8x24TPI 1/2x36TPI The compensator requires a barrel diameter less than 1” with an unobstructed 2” of barrel behind the threads (before thing like gas blocks, front sight towers or bayonet lugs). If you have things like front sight posts that prevent a wrap around comp, consider the S9. The S9 was developed when customers running the ruger PC or the RDB couldn't use the S8 due to its wrap back design. The S9 is threaded in 1/2x28tpi Also shown is the S8 with a few barrel lengths combined with our HG handguards.

Victoptics S6 $220 For close quarter shooting with a true one power magnification or the ability to turn up to 6 magnification and reach out to 400 meters, the S6 1-6 variable power scope does it all. It uses a horseshoe (like a Broken Circle-Dot) reticle which, according to Gestalt psychology, draws the eye faster to the center than a traditional crosshair.
